Whenever I think of magnolias, I am reminded of my grandmother. She has a huge magnolia tree in her front yard that I played under as a child. I can remember trotting my Barbies across fields of moss under the tree and making all kinds of things with the leaves and seed pods from the tree. So here is my grandmother . . . a picture I took of her in January 2008. All papers and elements are from Steel Magnolias, with the exception of the alpha, which is a freebie called Misty Night Alpha by New Life Dreams.

OMgoodness you created such an elegant quick page to share with us. The soft colors and beautiful frame cluster you dreamed up are fancy and sweet. The story of your grandmother makes this QP memorable too!
