DSA Battle of the Creative Teams ~ Week 4 MVP!

WooT! Our team, Scrap Happy, made MVP for Week 4 . . . so cool! What a great contest and we had a fabulous time creating with each other!

The Happy Factor

Our final BOTCT Challenge ~ we had to scraplift two of our teammates . . . this layout was inspired by the layouts of my BOTCT teammates, JackieAnn (ScrappieJackie) and Mirjam (schneeflocke)!

Inspired by page composition and element placement from JackieAnn's layout, Meg & Millie.

Inspired by black & white photography, word art, subtle coloring from Mirjam's layout, Summer.

We also chose an additional theme of "The Happy Factor" ~ and what could be happier than a day of fun at the beach! Love seeing my husband and children so happy and enjoying the waves!

This week's challenge was a numbered challenge. Our team had to pick what was on our list ~ much harder than it sounds as it took us a few days to collaborate and agree to the list. WE all have different scrapping styles and have our little favorite embellies we like to use. In addition, our team chose VIRTUES as an additional theme to using the list. I chose HOPE for my page.

Love Grows

And here is the layout, my first layout for the Battle of the Creative Teams at DSA. Our first challenge was to use a common color theme and theme for the layouts ~ we chose B&W photos paired with off white, black, green and a touch of blue.

Battle of the Creative Teams

The Battle of the Creative Teams hosted by Digi Scrap Addicts starts tomorrow, the 15th! I'm on a team representing Krystal Hartley, and looking forward to a great series of challenges and loads of fun!
