Becky Fleck hosts some great sketch challenges over on her PageMaps Blog. I participated in a recent challenge and actually won $30 in gorgeous goodies from Basic Grey (well, I'm going shopping ~ I'll post later when I decide what to get). You can view the two winning entries (one paper and one digi) and check out other fantastic sketches over on the PageMaps Blog: http://www.pagemaps.com/blog.php?do=blog&id=87
I'm really enjoying that the paper and digi worlds are meshing together more and more. I often view paper layouts for inspiration, and I'm finding that paper scrapping artists are doing the same. It's so wonderful to see us inspiring each other to try new and different things. And it's equally lovely to know that a sketch can inspire you, no matter if you scrap with paper or digital supplies, or if you are a card maker, or maybe you make hybrid projects. Sketches can really give you a jumpstart when you aren't sure where to start.
Thanks again to Becky Fleck and Basic Grey!
This is my winning digi layout:
