Layout #22 for Calvinball. My mom had sent home some Christmas stocking goodies in this basket. I emptied it and stuck it on my folding table in the laundry room. When I came back in later to fold clothes, there my Holly Belle was, very pleased that she was able to fit in the basket!
Calvinball Layout #21. Olivia was home for Winter Break and we had a relaxing day after Christmas. Everyone was in comfy clothes, and we watched TV, played on the internet and read. And of course Holly Belle found a warm spot to curl up!

Calvinball Layout #20. This is me, my sister, and my dad on his birthday last year. Trying to get a selfie with him is an adventure. He's never sure where to look and then he starts laughing. Then WE start laughing. I love times like these, when we're laughing about nothing.

Layout #19 for Calvinball. This past Christmas was a bit different. I ended up not taking photos while we were opening presents (I was trying to live in the moment), and now I actually regret it. Not that I didn't enjoy living in the moment (I did), but that afternoon my grandma went in the hospital for two weeks, and honestly, I don't remember much about the morning. My photos are great visual reminders for what we received for gifts as well as a family record. And now I don't have that. Ah, well, it's just one year. ANYWAY, I babbled on about that to say that I did put out **my** gifts and took a photo of them so I would remember what I received. It was a great Christmas as far as gifts go, but because of circumstances, I really appreciated all my family.

Layout #14 for Calvinball. This is my kitty, Holly Belle. She's a family pet, but really if I'm being honest, I've done my best to take her over as my own. In keeping with my crazy cat lady status, I take a LOT of photos of this sweet girl. This one is from December of 2014, when she used to have this little house/bed. She was always so cute peeking out of it.
I've been thinking that I need to gather all my layouts of Holly Belle and get a smaller book made of just those. I think it would be a cute coffee table book.
Layout #13 for Calvinball. Olivia dressed up for Decade Day during Homecoming Week 2014 when she was a Senior. This was my very favorite day that she dressed up. She's mine, I know, and I'm prejudiced, but lordy, this girl is beautiful.
Layouts #11 and #12 for Calvinball. This is Olivia dressed up for 80's Day during Homecoming Week her Junior year, 2013. I can't believe that's 2 years ago! She's off at university now . . . and I don't have nearly as many opportunities to photograph as her I did before. Completing this layout makes me want to schedule a time to do a college photo session with her!
Layout #10 for Calvinball. Photos of a walking iris that managed to make it through our freak ice storm we had here in Florida in January 2014. These photos were taking in April 2014. I'm still always amazed by these flowers. They are so intricate and lovely.

Layouts 8 & 9 for Calvinball. This kit was absolutely perfect for these photos I took for the Scrap Orchard Designers Retreat #sobeachy in 2014. I had so much fun that long weekend creating and that's where my love and passion for zentangling and watercolor really took hold!
I think I might really dive into making some more layouts from this trip!
Calvinball Layout #7. There is no point to this photo, other than it greatly amused me to find it in the restroom of an antique mall . . . so amused that I took the photo and then spent the entirety of the day exclaiming "bad karma will follow you!" Just a silly funny memory of a shopping day.
You know, sometimes I feel guilty for scrapping memories like this, like it isn't important enough. I had so much fun making this silly layout . . . sometimes you just have to have a sense of humor!
Calvinball Layout #6. This layout will finish up my Mama's birthday dinner/celebration from 2014! I think all the pages are going to look so good together.
I'm also delighted because it's the 3rd of March, and this is my 6th layout, which means that I've been scrapping, on average, two layouts per day. This is awesome! I'm so inspired and feeling so creative right now, so expect lots more layouts!

Layout #4 for Calvinball. These are photos from my mom's birthday dinner/cake in 2014. Almost finished with the month of January 2014! I don't know whether to feel accomplished or sad that I'm that behind. LOL
Calvinball Layout #3. Popped back into 2014 photos to keep working on that album. I wanted to finish up with my mom's birthday photos from that year. I think I'm done, but I want to look at the photos one more time to make sure I documented everything. This photo details the dinner my husband and I made for my mom. Everyone loves my alfredo sauce!
Layout #2 for Calvinball 2016 at Get It Scrapped. At least I'm keeping with the one layout a day. I think I have enough left in me to make another layout tonight even after I made a lot of templates today! Feeling inspired!
Also, this video I actually talk while I scrap, which is a bit of a disaster. I tend to get quiet and focused when I scrap, and I forget to chat. Sorry! I hope as I keep doing the videos this way ~ real time ~ that I will get better at it!
I'm participating in Calvinball over at Get It Scrapped. It's basically a way to help you keep focused on making layouts and/or finishing projects. The event lasts the entire month of March 2016. There are no prizes or winners announced ~ essentially, it's just having bragging rights. There are a number of ways to earn points and obviously one of the main ways to earn points is to make layouts.
Personally, I'm keeping track of my points, but I'm not in it to get the most points or most layouts at all. I'll be delighted if I can get 30-45 layouts completed this month, and I'll consider myself a winner if I meet my personal goal. I attempted to complete the Month of Challenges at The Lilypad where I sell my templates, and I did pretty good, but there was just too much going on with it being my second month having my store opened there.
I'm enjoying rubbing shoulders with a lot of paper scrappers at Get It Scrapped. There are quite a few of them that make scrapbooking process videos that I love to watch and be inspired by. Also, they are very generous with their sincere comments on layouts, so if you are looking for an open gallery to share your layouts in, this might be the place for you. Just remember to leave as much love as you receive at a minimum!
Maybe I'll see some of you over there! There's no deadline to enter or anything, just jump in and join when you can!
