You Are Here
This is my sweet little man, outfitted with his Thomas the Train backpack, headed off into the unknown . . .
Journaling reads: You are here, with the world at your feet, waiting to open its wondrous treasures to you. You are still so small, but your journey has already begun. I don’t know where your feet will take you in your lifetime, but I trust in our God that He will guide you and protect you. I daily pray for your safety and security, for your health, for goodness and mercy and blessings to be upon your life. So you are here right now, my little boy, full of adventure. Watch out world. Here he comes!

love you - Perfectly Poetic Challenge at PPF
I created this layout for the Perfectly Poetic Challenge I host over at Purple Paper Flowers (you can check out the challenges in the forum here: PERFECTLY POETIC CHALLENGE FORUM).
Basically, I provide a poem as inspiration and you have to use a portion of or the entire poem in your layout. You can use just one line and make it into a title, you can use the entire poem in the place of journaling, or you can create word art from separate stanzas of the poem.
CREDITS: All papers and elements from Walk Through The Meadow by Lorie Davison and Edeline Marta; Blacksplash Alpha by scarletheels designs; journaling is an excerpt from "Love Sonnet XVII" by Pablo Neruda; font is Prissy Frat Boy

Discover - RAK for Cinda
We've been having a New Beginnings Crop over at The Shaker Box with TONS of challenges. One of the challenges was to swap photos with a fellow scrapper, and I exchanged photos with Cinda and here is my RAK for her. This is her little boy who is just TOO cute!

WOOT! I made the Gallery Standouts Blog!
This is my second appearance on the Gallery Standouts Blog, and this layout uses Tangie Baxter Designs. She has a great new collection called Arctic Waters that was versatile enough for me to use for a water layout from the 4th of July! I just love her designs and I'm over the moon that I made the GSO! Both my pages that have made the GSO feature my beautiful daughter!
Check out my layout on the GSO Blog HERE. It's the 5th page down.
Here it is again, too:

Okay, now, seriously, my daughter is the most beautiful thing ever. I love this particular expression on her face. So expectant. Her whole life stretching in front of her. I'm just so stinkin' amazed sometimes that I get to be her mother.
